Cacao hearths with hazelnuts cookies

Hello again fellow readers. I will be writing down the recipe for these tasty looking cacao cookies with hazelnuts. I can assure you these one taste absolutely amazing and i have made then allot of times either to impress my family and friends or when my girlfriend come to my place.
As usual here are the ingredient:














Ingredients:

      2 eggs. Separate the yolk from the egg whites on 1 egg.
      50 gr crushed hazelnuts.
      250 grams flour
      75 grams fine grounded/powdered hazelnuts
      50 grams natural cacao
      1/8 tea spoon salt.
      125 soft butter
      150 brown sugar

      



How to make:

1. Mix in a average sized bowl the flour and the grounded/powdered hazelnuts, cacao and salt.
2. In a large bowl use a mixer on high speed and mix the butter and the brown sugar until the mix is fluffy.
3. Add the whole egg and the egg yolk and mix just enough to mix them with the other ingredients.
4. Switch the mixer on low and add slowly the flour mix. Mix until a nice dough forms. Form the dough in a ball and wrap it in cooking wrap. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4. Preheat the oven on 180 degree.
5. Butter up to shallow baking pans.
6. Take the dough out of the fridge and on a floured surface roll out to thickness of 5 mm.
7. Cut hearth shaped figures with length of 4 cm. Gather up the left dough and repeat until you use all the material.
8. Use a spatula transfer the figures in the baking pans. Be sure they have 2,5 cm between them.
9. In a small cup beat up the eggs white and use a brush to smear the mix on top of the cookies, after that sprinkle them with the hazels
10. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until they are hard to the touch.
11. After they are baked immediately take them out of the baking pan and arrange them on a metal grill to cool down.


You should get: 30 cookies
Time to make: 40 minutes + 30 minutes
Bake: 10-15 minute
